Hints and Tips for Candles: 1) Baby wipes work great for cleaning soot build-up from the inside of glass containers. Just make sure the container is completely dry before lighting your candle. 2) You can remove wax from holders by running them under very hot water- please be sure to use care when doing this. 3) Also, to remove wax from washable fabrics, scrape off excess wax and run boiling water through the material. 4) Do not leave candles in direct sunlight- this will cause them to fade and discolor. 5) Toenail clippers work great for clipping wicks in containers where scissors won't fit. FYI and Fun Facts: Did you know that a candle has a "memory?" When you light your candle for the first time allow the wax to melt all the way across the top forming a "pool" of melted wax. This will create a more evenly-burning candle as the candle will "remember" to melt all the way to the edges after each lighting!! ![]() Site Designed & Maintained By:Schwim.net |
